Bipin Thapa is a seasoned psychotherapist and mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling, addiction recovery, and juvenile psychology. With a strong academic background in psychology and social work, he has dedicated his career to fostering emotional well-being, rehabilitation, and inclusive care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
He currently serves as a addiction Counselor Psychologist at the Nepal Police Wife Association in Aasara Sudhar Kendra since 2018, where he leads therapeutic interventions for substance use disorders and provides programmatic oversight, while also holding the position of vice president and a Case Manager at Nawa Upakar Nepal Sudar Kendra in Tokha. In this dual role, he applies advanced knowledge of substance use disorders, psycho-pharmacy, and therapeutic interventions, while also overseeing program coordination, resource management, and staff development.
Since 2022, Mr. Thapa has also been working as a Juvenile/Child Psychologist at the Patan District Court, where he provides psychological assessment, behavioral intervention, and case management for minors in conflict with the law. His work emphasizes rehabilitation through individualized care, family involvement, and structured support, integrating psychological insights with legal frameworks.
In academia, he contributes as the Academic Director of Orient College and a lecturer of psychology, mentoring future professionals with a focus on practical applications and ethical competence.
